Love me two times

Love me two times

I have tried to create the remains of a portrait that I have never seen. These leftovers are nothing but traces that testify of the different ‘possibles’ of a person. « We all are groupuscules. » P.F. Guattari

Traces that are not telling a story, but let themselves be filled in and recomposed by the memory of the spectator. The memory is activated in the void and absence between the fragments that remained.

« When I use my memory, I ask it to produce whathever it is that I wish to remember. Some things are produced immediately; some are forthcoming only after a delay, as though they were being brought out from some hiding places; spilling from the memory, thrusting themselves upon us when what we want is something quite different, as much as to say: "Perhaps we are what we want to remember." » Augustine
