Synopsis of a Battle is a choreographed tragedy composed out of dance, mythology and opera. Etienne Guilloteau and Claire Croizé meet on stage to embody a primal duality that talks about battle, dialogue and… love.
Claire Croizé’s new creation for 2014 will be a trio created with José-Paolo Dos Santos, Youness Khoukhou and Radouan Mriziga, based on the beauty and wilderness of youth, the vitality and pure energy of a body in movement in its close relationship with the other and the environment.
Untamed Thingliness is a project on the untameable nature of meaning. Out of a curiosity in how objects, language and physical actions co-exist and interact with each other, Nada Gambier created a performance that is at onnce both absurd and serious, humorous as well as thought-provoking.
Mechanics of Emotion is Nada Gambier’s video installation project in three parts: A portrait, Spectator and The weight of invisible pain. The project explores the complex and often un-controlled ways emotions are manifested and exposed to our surroundings.
For Claire Croizé Chant Éloigné is about something to come, about stretching out towards a dimension beyond hearing and seeing. Joined by four other female dancers, Croizé immerse herself in the music of composers of the Second Viennese School.
